Hello, My name is Crystal Blasjo and I am your Tavares Elementary School Family School Liaison. I am a mother of 2, a boy and a girl, who both attend TES, and I am also a board member on PTO. I have been with the LCS district for a few years now and I absolutely love it. With each year that passes, our students continue to show me how much they can grow and how strong their love of learning truly is. I strive to enhance our family involvement in our both at home and inschool, and connecting the bridge between our families, students, and teachers. I believe this is the key to a successful school year for us all.
Along with being a Family School Liaison, I also run our Parent Resource Center. What is that you may ask? It is a center open and welcome to all our families with resources to check out and use throughout the school year. Some items include flashcards, games, books, ipads, leapfrog devices, and laptops. We also have resources for our ESOL families to help transition from Spanish to English. I am available Monday through Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
