🚒🔥 A Huge Thank-You to Our Local Firefighters! 🔥🚒 Today our Pre-K students got a special visit from the fire department! Even though the big fire truck couldn’t be there because of an emergency call, the firefighters still took time to come by, teach our Bullpups about fire safety, and show off some of their gear. 👏 We’re so grateful to our firefighters for putting safety first while making sure our youngest students still had a memorable experience. ❤️

We kicked off Attendance Week on a high note and wrapped it up with an amazing display of school spirit! Students across campus showed their enthusiasm by submitting a variety of creative posters for our schoolwide attendance contest. Thank you to everyone who participated! Judging is now in progress, and we’re excited to announce the grade-level winners on Tuesday, September 30th. We also continued our attendance pop-ins and were thrilled to recognize several additional classes for achieving 100% attendance this week! A huge congratulations to the following groups: VPK – Ms. Khan's Class ESE - Ms. Crofts, Mrs. Smith's, Ms. Sizemore's, & Ms. Cornforth's Class 2nd Grade – Ms. Sims, Mrs. Jones, Ms. McMenamin, & Ms. Steinmetz's Classes 3rd Grade – Ms. Canaday's Class 4th Grade – Mr. Linder's Class 5th Grade – Mrs. Zachar's Class Each of these classes earned a sweet Charms Mini Pop to celebrate their perfect attendance. Great job, everyone, let’s keep the momentum going!

🎃🍬 Calling all Bullpup Families! 🍬🎃 Our Trunk or Treat and BooFest are right around the corner, and we need your help to make them spook-tacular! We’re asking for candy donations to help fill the trunks and tables for our Bullpups to enjoy. 🚫 Please send only non-chocolate and peanut-free candy so that all of our students can safely enjoy the treats. Families can drop off candy in the car rider line or at the front office — whichever is easiest for you. Attendance Spirit Week is in Full Swing! We kicked off the week with Motivational Monday, and the campus was filled with inspiring words promoting strong attendance. Today was Tie-Dye Tuesday, and our halls turned into a sea of vibrant, groovy colors! Adding to the fun, some of our Attendance Team members made surprise “pop-in” visits to Kindergarten and 1st grade classrooms to celebrate classes with 100% attendance. 🎉 Congratulations to Ms. Evans' Kindergarten class and Ms. Cone & Mrs. Benedetto’s class — they earned Charms Mini Pops as a sweet reward! Let’s keep the momentum going with Wake-Up Wednesday — don’t forget to wear your pajamas!

When a student misses so many days that they are chronically absent (10% or more days) it means the lack of engagement in learning is an ongoing problem that needs to be addressed. Chronic absence affects all kids, not just the absent ones. #HereTodayReadyforTomorrow
