📚🐾 Wild About Reading Family Literacy Night Recap! 🐾📚 What an unforgettable night we had celebrating literacy with our amazing school community! Teachers created fun and engaging activities for everyone to enjoy, while families came together to share their love of reading. A special thank you to our friends from PAWS Therapy Dogs for bringing their furry friends, the Tavares Public Library, and Imagination Library for adding to the fun! 🐶📖 From interactive activities to paws-itively adorable therapy dog visits, it was a night full of smiles, laughter, and, of course, books. We’re so grateful for everyone who joined us to make this event a success. Let’s keep the reading adventure going!

📚🎤 Wrapping up Wild About Reading Literacy Week with a bang! 🎤📚 We had the perfect ending to our Wild About Reading Literacy Week with the incredible Katie Adams, a professional storyteller who brought stories to life in the most interactive and engaging way. 🦁🌍 Katie took our students on a journey through animal tales from different cultures, complete with audience participation, rhythm instruments, and sound effects. Our BULLPUPS truly enjoyed being part of the story! Thank you, Katie, for making our literacy week unforgettable and for showing us how powerful storytelling can be! 📖✨

Author Taryn Souders, the creative mind behind "Larry's Christmas Cat-Astrophe (Not Really)", visited our PreK-2nd grade students to share the fascinating process of illustrating a book before it’s published! ✍️🎨 The kids loved learning how illustrations come to life and how much work goes into making a story come true.
